True love vs. legislation
Modern laws ban any types of intimate relationships between students and teachers. The term "political correctness" is well-known to everybody. But now we have also "pedagogical correctness". It means, that no matter how old a student is, no matter how young a teacher is, what they think about their relationships, what plans they have for their common future, all types of intimacy between a student and a teacher are banned. Even if you are engaged with each other, you are not allowed to enter intimate relationships. No matter how strong is your love, any court is likely to consider your relationship as illegal. These laws are very painful for some people, because they brutally invade in their private life and do not let them make their own choice of life companion. It is always very hard to experience intrusion into your private life by other people, to say nothing about powerful and almighty legislative system. Does it mean a total deadlock for all pairs, which consist of a teacher and a student?
Nowadays, taking into account all details of legislation, the only way is either to change job for a teacher or drop from the university for a student. It is a difficult dilemma. It is very hard for a teacher to find another job, and it is also very difficult for a student to change educational institution. Career is important and without love our life is impossible too. Which is how, one should make a choice and think about priorities. If you think that career is more important for you, then don't talk about love, if you think that love is in first place for you, don't sacrifice it for the sake of mercenary goals. Fate is usually favourable for those people who struggle for their love and resist obstacles. Many people have already made their choice. Cases when a teacher leaves university in order not to have legal problems and be forever with his chosen one are very frequent. Legislation is cruel, but there is no other ways out.
