To be a young teacher is dangerous!
Sexual relationships between teachers and pupils are prohibited in the most countries and are punished severely; especially it refers to teachers, because they are of the full legal age and should bear full responsibility. But no matter how harsh is the punishment in these cases these relationships blossom and seem to be ineradicable. They occur across all age and sexual boundaries.
It may seem strange, that people who are involved into these relationships are not afraid of criminal prosecution. In fact, they are not so brave as it may seem. They simply behave thoughtlessly and don't take into account all possible consequences of their intimacies. Liaisons between teachers and pupils are very insidious because they start unnoticeably and gradually. Although, we must admit that it is a characteristic feature of all intimate relationships: you can hardly remember the very moment you began to love a person. The same happens with young and inexperienced teachers, who don't know all subtleties of human relationships.
When a school romance between a teacher and a pupil begins it is often hard to determine who was an initiator of the liaison, in most cases these romances begin two participants simultaneously. Their feelings are mutual, their mood is romantic, they live for the day and don't think about the variants of development for their romances and how it all will end. Moreover some childish, too romantic, and hence thoughtless persons think that nothing can really spoil their relationships because they love each other and love is a sacred feeling and thus they will be saved by Providence, and all laws and regulations are powerless before the real love. It is very difficult for this people to go through the encounter with the severe legislative system. They are surprised to find out that love is not so almighty as they thought, and can't help its worshipers as it successfully does in numerous novels. Indeed, this is a very disappointing truth of life.
Relationships between teachers and pupils usually emerge at parties. Young teachers often don't feel the age gap between them and their pupils and behave in a relaxed manner. This is also a way for them to prove themselves that they are as young at heart as their pupils. They often want to prolong the sense of unconcern and light-heartedness which is always inherent in youngsters. This is also a good way for a young teacher to get rid of hag-ups and inhibitions, feel him/herself not only in the role of a formal leader of the class but also an informal one, and thus to embody the childhood dream.
A young teacher can get from his /her pupil not only love and sincerity of feelings but also the energy of youth. It is very tempting, isn't it? Young teachers are sometimes children at heart too and can't evaluate the whole seriousness of the situation soberly, but unfortunately it doesn't acquit them before the law.
