Precautions

Be self-confident. If you consider yourself a victim and are ready to play this role, you will get it by all means. Be strong willed; learn how to respond to male sexual threat properly.

Clearly give your chief understand that sexual relations at work are unacceptable for you. At a crucial moment you may release your anger.

Do not leave unattended "accidental" touching of your chief and his dirty jokes. Tell him in a calm voice, without a smile, that it is unpleasant for you and ask him not to repeat them any more. This rule is sometimes effective.

Do not stay alone with your chief if your work doesn't require it. Invent an excuse to reduce the time of staying with him, call a colleague or ask somebody to call you from time to time. Take a Dictaphone with you.

Do not participate in frivolous conversations with colleagues; do not let them start these talks in your presence. If you easily support such conversations, then your colleagues or the chief may decide that you are ready to move from words to deeds.

Be a pleasant and sociable woman, but don't emphasize your sexuality on-site, unless you plan a romance. Watch over your appearance: this is a very serious sign for colleagues. If you dress too sexy, it can certainly cause some suspicions. Don't confuse style and frivolity. The same refers to make-up.
