Hidden motives of harassment

Sexual harassment is a widespread phenomenon and it is observed all over the world. It has different forms and manifestations. But the most common its type is harassment of bosses towards women-employees.

Why does it happen so often? Bosses as other people have different types of character, different inclinations and so on. But most of them have one common feature: they tend to attach themselves to their subordinates belonging to the opposite sex.

They are all rich and successful personalities, they have a lot of points to boast before women in general. They can find a lot of admirers outside their work. Why do they follow their subordinates? You may think that this happens because they are very busy and have no free time to find admirers elsewhere. No, it is not true, though it is sometimes a good excuse for them. The real reason is that by means of harassment bosses demonstrate their power.

The majority of bosses are tyrants. They have enough power but constantly think that it is not enough. They want more and more power. They consider their company or department as their little world, where they are kings or even gods. They want to impose their power to everybody who lives in this world. As for female representatives of this world the best way to demonstrate power to them is to use them in different ways. Sexual harassment is one of them. it is worth mentioning that harassment never goes alone. It is usually accompanied by rudeness, derogation and haughtiness. The problem is very serious and if you prefer to do nothing, it will only aggravate. Your actions should careful but firm and resolute. Constant lack of power is a weak point of your boss. It means that in fact he has serious hang-ups. You can turn his tyranny into your weapon. Show him your strong will and he will stop short. You will even be able to manipulate him.
